Overview
The 2025 Duisburg Pumpkin Festival took place on October 26, drawing thousands of visitors to the city center. Pumpkin carving, tractor show, and stage program at CityPalais proved successful again; the parallel Sunday shopping noticeably boosted business on Königstraße.
In 2025, the festival was again a family magnet. In classic autumn weather, families from Duisburg, the Lower Rhine, and the western Ruhr area flocked to Königstraße. Duisburg Kontor drew a positive conclusion and announced the continuation for October 25, 2026, as early as the beginning of 2026.
