In June 2025, the 24th Dragon Boat Fun Regatta took place again over three days in Duisburg's Inner Harbour. School regatta on Friday, FunCup MIXED and celebrity race on Saturday, Fun Cup and Sport Cup on Sunday with a duck race. The format maintained its world record status according to the Guinness Book.

School regatta on Friday with student teams from Duisburg schools, main regatta on Saturday with FunCup MIXED and celebrity race, Sport and Fun Cup finals on Sunday with the popular duck race.

DuisburgKontor confirmed the 2026 date for the 25th anniversary from June 12th to 14th directly after the event and announced an expanded program looking back at the quarter-century with an additional fireworks display and a special exhibition on the regatta's history.
