Edition 2025 — DrachenFest Waldeck
The 2025 season was the last edition of the DrachenFest at the former Quast venue near Diemelstadt – a historic farewell before the move to Waldeck am Edersee in 2026.
The 2025 season was emotionally charged: it marked the end of an era at Quast in Diemelstadt, the long-time venue of the DrachenFest. Around 5,000 players from Europe gathered for the last joint festival week at this location. The organizers had already announced the move to the new Waldeck am Edersee playing field at that time, so the 2025 season was staged as a programmatic conclusion – with special quests, moments of remembrance, and a dramatically heightened finale.
