Overview
The Drachenfest Juliusruh 2025 took place on the weekend of the Kap Arkona Run. Large kites on the beach, craft activities for children, and the traditional Bambini-Lauf on Sunday morning rounded off the family weekend on Wittow.
In 2025, families and kite enthusiasts from Northern Germany once again used the first October weekend to fly their kites on Juliusruh beach. With changeable weather and strong winds from the west/northwest, the conditions for the Drachenfest were ideal.
The event was integrated into the Kap Arkona Run weekend with a half marathon, 10 km, and Bambini-Lauf — a combination that has made the seaside resort a classic end-of-season event for years.
