Edition 2025 — Dragon Boat Festival Mülheim

The 29th edition of the Mülheim Dragon Boat Festival took place in September 2025 on the Ruhrarena. Teams from the Ruhr region and NRW competed for two days in the classic categories of Mixed, Open, Youth, and Women. Free admission for spectators.

Mülheim Dragon Boat Festival 2025

The 2025 edition marked the last year before the 30th-anniversary celebration in 2026. DJK Ruhrwacht and its partners presented the usual format: qualifications on Saturday, finals and award ceremonies on Sunday, along with a supporting program featuring club activities and food stalls along the Ruhr promenade. Excellent conditions on the calm stretch of the Ruhr between the Eisenbahnbrücke and Schlossbrücke.

With the announcement for 2026 — the motto 'Are you ready – Attention – go', the premiere of the Sunday triathlon, and anniversary celebrations — the 2025 festival concluded with anticipation for the 30th edition.
