Overview
The second edition of Doxumentale 2025 continued the interdisciplinary format: twelve days of documentary film, VR experiences, readings, and DJ sets at various Berlin venues. The family track was first introduced in 2025 and expanded for the 2026 program.
In 2025, Doxumentale established VR experiences and the family program as unique selling points compared to other Berlin film festivals. With the Atrium Tower and The Playce at Potsdamer Platz, the young festival gained a prominent core – a clear commitment to the visibility of documentary in Berlin's cultural calendar.
