The 12th Dornburg Castles Night 2025 delighted a sold-out audience with a multi-layered program of classical music, folk, world music, and light art on the "Balcony of Thuringia." Three castles, three atmospheres, a fireworks display over the Saale valley — the Castles Night solidified its reputation as one of the most atmospheric summer festivals in Central Germany.
Castles Night 2025
The 12th edition in 2025 continued the established format: top-class classical, folk, and world music in the three castles, walk acts and light installations in the park, and a concluding fireworks display over the Saale valley. The Dornburg Castles Administration and the City of Dornburg-Camburg coordinated the weekend — tickets, as usual, sold out quickly. The unique location on the shell limestone rock above the Saale valley remains the event's strongest appeal.
