Overview

The Dorfwoche Rieseby 2025 followed the classic Schwansen pattern as usual: a maritime shanty opening, Sports Saturday, a model exhibition in the festival tent, and the DRK Sunday buffet to conclude. Several hundred visitors celebrated together in the village center.

In 2025, the Dorfwoche Rieseby once again attracted several hundred visitors to the municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district. The Dorfwochenausschuss and the DRK Rieseby, together with clubs and the fire brigade, organized a four-day program of shanty concerts, sports, an exhibition, and a family Sunday. The traditional pea soup and salad buffet on Sunday was once again the culinary constant of the event. Beyond club life, the week offered residents and guests from the Eckernförde Bay and Schlei region a taste of authentic Schleswig-Holstein.
