Edition 2025 — Dorfplatzfest Sternenfels
In the previous year, 2025, the new Sternenfels village square was still under construction. The municipality used the mid-May weekend for smaller preparatory and citizen participation formats on the construction site and in the town hall to prepare residents for the 2026 inauguration. The official first edition of the Village Square Festival will take place in 2026.
Preparation Year 2025
The year 2025 was a crucial preparatory construction year for Sternenfels: the new village square was being finalized, paving was being laid, lighting installed, and furniture assembled. The municipality organized accompanying citizen participation events to discuss the future use of the square—weekly market? Club festivals? Concerts? Playground expansion?
The official first edition of the Sternenfels Village Square Festival will take place in 2026 as the inauguration of the new square—this is the historic premiere of the recurring festival.
