Overview

The Trischinger Kirwa 2025 took place from September 5th to 7th in the Trisching district of the municipality of Schmidgaden. A classic three-day Upper Palatinate program: Raising of the Kerwabaum on Friday at 3 PM, beer tapping with a dance evening (band Rundumadum); Saturday evening mass at 6 PM in St. Mary's Church, evening dance with band Tschamstera; Sunday Baumtanz at 2:30 PM, coffee afternoon with Buchberg-Echo, Kerwabaum raffle at 8:30 PM.

The 2025 edition was marked by the Trischinger Kirwa tradition, upheld since 1980. The 8 Kirwa couples led the festival program, from the pole raising on Friday to the raffle on Sunday evening.

The full 2025 program (local press Onetz.de): Friday, Sep 5th, from 3 PM pole raising, 7:30 PM beer tapping with Rundumadum; Saturday Sep 6th, 6 PM evening mass at St. Mary's Church, evening dance with Tschamstera; Sunday Sep 7th, 2:30 PM Baumtanz, coffee afternoon with Buchberg-Echo, 8:30 PM pole raffle.

Proceeds went towards the maintenance of the Trisching village community center; volunteers were called upon for setup and catering.
