Overview

The Dorffestspiele Großheringen 2025 took place in July on the open-air stage at the sports field — four days of stage program with Schlager, pop, and dancing. As in previous years, regional bands, family programs, and Saale-Unstrut wines characterized the festival in the wine town on the Saale.

Dorffestspiele 2025 — Proven Format

As every year in July, the Großheringen sports field transformed into a four-day festival site in 2025. Schlager music featuring national stars like Laura Wilde, party bands like COCO-BAND, and regional acts created the typical village festival atmosphere. During the day, the family program ran, while evenings focused on the dance and concert program.

Saale-Unstrut wines — Großheringen is located in Germany's northernmost wine-growing region — were an important element of the catering, complemented by classic snack stands with Thuringian bratwurst and game dishes.
