Overview

The 8th Village Festival in Weiler took place in July 2025, as every year on the second weekend of July, on the Backhausplatz. The Dorffestverein Weiler e.V. catered guests from Weiler, Pfaffenhofen, and the Zabergäu for two days with traditional Swabian food, Zabergäuer wines, and live music in a relaxed village festival atmosphere.

At the 8th Village Festival in Weiler 2025, locals and guests from all over Zabergäu gathered again around the Backhausplatz. The Dorffestverein Weiler e.V., together with local clubs, organized a two-day festival with village heartiness — Bratwurst and Maultaschen, homemade cakes, and Zabergäuer wines from nearby vineyards. The historic bakehouse once again served as a picturesque backdrop, and the live music on Saturday evening got the festival-goers dancing. Sunday followed with the traditional Frühshoppen with brass music. A successful festival that preserves the identity of the small Pfaffenhofen district and finances the club's work.
