Overview

In 2025, Freischütz Walpertskirchen once again invited guests to the traditional village festival on the second Sunday in June on the village square. With summer weather, the community celebrated with a beer tent, brass music, delicacies, and a children's program – a continuation of the tradition that was grandly celebrated in the jubilee year 2023 with the 1,275-year Bavarian festival.

The 2025 village festival in Walpertskirchen followed the tried-and-tested formula: festival start at 11 a.m. on the village square, beer tapping, lunch with traditional Bavarian festival cuisine, and in the afternoon, coffee and cake with traditional music. The marksmen, the traditional costume dancers, and the other local clubs provided catering together, and the Sempt-Flötzbach market showcased regional specialties from the Erdinger Moos. There were also specific program items for the children.

As always, the 2025 village festival was a meeting point for the entire community and for former residents of Walpertskirchen from the Munich and Erding surrounding areas. The tradition, which has been firmly established in the Erding festival calendar since at least the 1,275-year festival in 2023, was reaffirmed.
