Edition 2025 — Dorffest Seedorf
As the Dorffest Seedorf takes place every two years, there was no edition in 2025. The previous edition was held in 2024 — as usual on a June weekend, with a vintage car parade, the sports club's Low German theatre, and community contributions from all local clubs.
The Dorffest Seedorf follows a bi-annual rhythm — therefore, there was no festival in 2025. The 2024 edition continued the classic format: a three-day weekend with a festival hut, pre-festival events (setup, cider tasting), a vintage car parade on Saturday, Low German theatre by the sports club, performances by 'Die singenden Schaalseejungs', and contributions from the Seedorf and Groß Zecher fire brigades and the local Red Cross.
As always, the festival helped to strengthen social life in the small community within the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Admission was free, as usual, and the programme was coordinated by the Fruit and Garden Club.
