The association Luhdorf erLeben e.V. was founded to actively shape and promote village life in the Luhdorf district of Winsen. Throughout the year, the association organizes events, activities, and social gatherings. The Dorffest on the second Sunday in September is the best-known and most attended event of the annual program.

Brümmelkamp as Festival Grounds

Brümmelkamp in Luhdorf is a green space used as the festival grounds for the Dorffest. It hosts the stage, festival tent, flea market stalls, play areas, and the area for the tractor meeting. Its natural setting gives the festival a special character, distinguishing it from urban district festivals.

Flea Market and Tractor Meeting

Two special program elements make the Dorffest unique: the flea market with private vendors from Luhdorf and the surrounding area, and the tractor meeting, where historic agricultural vehicles are presented.
