Overview

The Dorffest Genshagen 2025 once again brought together families from the Ludwigsfelde district and the region for the traditional summer event. Stage, tombola, bouncy castle, games program, and dancing for all generations — the proven format has been successful for years.

In 2025, the festival was organized as usual by the city of Ludwigsfelde together with the Genshagen district. Local clubs, the fire department, and local catering participated in the program design and catering.

The Dorffest Genshagen is a typical example of East Brandenburg club culture: volunteer-driven, intergenerational, with a clear format and a loyal following. In the Teltow-Fläming district and the southern Berlin commuter belt, there are dozens of similar village festivals — Genshagen is one of the liveliest.
