In August 2025, the village festival in Blankenburg once again attracted numerous visitors from Blankenburg, Nordendorf, and the surrounding area. With live music from the Nordendorf music association, Swabian delicacies, and free admission, it was a traditional summer evening in the Augsburg region.
The 2025 village festival in Blankenburg, a district of the Nordendorf municipality in the Augsburg district, was once again a draw for residents and guests from the surrounding villages. The Nordendorf music association provided the musical entertainment, and the local associations took care of the catering with bratwurst, beer, and cake.
The Nordendorf municipality subsequently thanked the volunteers in its community newsletter for their commitment to keeping this tradition alive — a successful summer evening in the Lechtal valley that impressively confirmed the value of small village festivals.
