Overview
In 2025, the Dorffest Ballstedt once again brought together the village community and guests from the Weimarer Land. Three days of program in the village center with beer tapping, festival tent, dance evening, and morning pint (Frühschoppen) — supported by the municipality of Am Ettersberg, clubs, and the volunteer fire department.
The 2025 village festival continued the tradition. Clubs and the fire department were jointly involved in organizing the program, and the festival tent was well-attended on all evenings. Families with children enjoyed the carousels and hands-on activities, and the dance floor filled up on Saturday evening. Sunday offered a morning pint (Frühschoppen) and lunch — a typical Thuringian village festival that meticulously preserves the identity of the Ballstedt district in Weimarer Land.
