Overview

The Dorffest Aretsried 2025 took place, as every year, on the last weekend of July — jointly organized by the Musikverein Aretsried and Schützenverein Aretsried at the clubhouse of the district of the market town of Fischach in the Augsburg district. Saturday evening brass music and barbecue specialties, Sunday early morning concert, lunch, and coffee with homemade cakes.

As in previous years, the Aretsried clubhouse transformed into a festival ground for two days of Swabian village life in late July 2025. The Musikverein Aretsried had prepared with practice evenings and rehearsal days, the Schützenverein provided the grill and shooting range, and the women of both clubs baked cakes and pies for Sunday afternoon.

Anyone looking for an authentic, small, honest village festival in the Stauden region — no grand parades, no Ferris wheel, but simply brass music, bratwurst, beer, and coffee with cake among club members and neighbors — found it at the 2025 Aretsried Dorffest, as always. Free admission, family-friendly atmosphere.
