Edition 2025 — Hafenfest Schlepzig
The 2025 Harbor Festival in Schlepzig once again brought thousands of Spreewald fans to the Großer Hafen. The Kahnkorso on Sunday, August 3rd at 2 PM was the highlight — over 20 decorated barges moved through the canals. Dancing in the harbor on Saturday evening and a brass music Frühschoppen on Sunday morning rounded off the festival weekend.
The 2025 Harbor Festival was once again a success: thousands of visitors came from Berlin, the surrounding Berlin area, and Lusatia to Schlepzig. The program followed the proven two-day structure — Saturday with dancing in the harbor, Sunday with Frühschoppen and Kahnkorso.
The 2025 Kahnkorso brought together over 20 decorated Spreewald barges — schools, sports clubs, tourism businesses, and private individuals participated. The organizers documented the parade in 24 photos for the regional press. The positive feedback from 2025 confirms the format for 2026 and secures the tradition for the coming years.
