Edition 2025 — Donau in Flammen
Donau in Flammen 2025 took place, as is traditional, on the second weekend in July in Vilshofen — two festival evenings with a grand bridge fireworks display starting at 10 PM, a promenade festival on both banks of the Danube, and sold-out special boat trips by the Wurm + Noé shipping company between Vilshofen and Passau.

In 2025, Donau in Flammen continued its success story. On the second weekend in July, the bridge fireworks once again attracted thousands of visitors from the tri-border area of Germany–Austria–Czech Republic to the Danube banks in Vilshofen. The pyrotechnicians from Freier Event & Pyro from Altdorf staged their classic bridge fireworks display, which illuminated the Danube from 10 PM onwards.
Live bands played on the promenades on both banks of the Danube, and catering stands offered regional specialties. The special boat trips by the Wurm + Noé shipping company were, as every year, sold out weeks in advance — anyone who wanted to experience the pyrotechnic show from the water had to book in time.
