100th Anniversary of DJK Kelberg 1926 e.V. – Mega Weekend from June 19th to 21st, 2026 at Kelberg Sports Ground with advance ticket sales via djk-kelberg.ticket.io.
The 100th anniversary of DJK Kelberg 1926 e.V. is one of the most significant club anniversaries of 2026 in the Vulkaneifel. From June 19th to 21st, 2026, the entire weekend at the Kelberg Sports Ground will become a festival zone – with sports, music, show acts, a festival tent, and social gatherings.
DJK – Deutsche Jugendkraft (German Youth Strength) – is a Catholic sports association with a long tradition. Local clubs shape sports and club life in many small and medium-sized communities, especially in the predominantly Catholic Eifel region. DJK Kelberg was founded in 1926 and has stood for sports, community, and volunteer engagement in Kelberg, the central town of the Kelberg administrative district, for one hundred years.
The anniversary weekend is designed as a major event:
The Kelberg Sports Ground has been the home and venue for DJK for decades. For the anniversary, the grounds will be transformed into a festival zone with a large festival tent, stage, food stalls, beer service, and a children's area. The infrastructure is prepared for a large number of visitors.
Tickets are available in advance via djk-kelberg.ticket.io. The weekend ticket is offered at a special price – the number is limited. Day tickets are also available. Guests can secure a spot at the anniversary highlight by ordering in time.
Kelberg is the seat of the administrative district of the same name in the northern Vulkaneifel district. The town, with around 2,000 inhabitants, is located in the transitional area between the Vulkaneifel and Hocheifel, with good transport links to the A1 and A48 motorways. DJK Kelberg is one of the defining clubs in the municipality.
With its 100th anniversary in 2026, DJK Kelberg reaches a historic milestone. The mega weekend sets standards for club anniversaries in the Kelberg administrative district and the Vulkaneifel.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in spring. The structure follows the established key points of previous years:
