In 2025, Die Toten Hosen took an announced break from touring. In May 2025, the major farewell tour „Trink aus! Wir müssen gehen" was announced for 2026 with stops in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Stuttgart — ticket pre-sales quickly led to sold-out venues. No open-air concert by the band took place in Stuttgart in 2025.

Preparation Year 2025

2025 was a year of break and preparation for Die Toten Hosen. After the intensive touring and festival years from 2022 to 2024, the band retreated for songwriting and studio work. In May 2025, the Düsseldorf band officially announced the farewell tour „Trink aus! Wir müssen gehen" for 2026 — featuring large open-air concerts in Germany and Austria, including the Stuttgart performance at Cannstatter Wasen on June 13, 2026.

Ticket Pre-sale Start

Pre-sales began on May 14, 2025, at 6 PM — initially exclusively via dth.de, and the general sale started a day later. Within hours, most 2026 open-air concerts were sold out, including Stuttgart. Die Toten Hosen did not perform live in Stuttgart in 2025; the last regular Stuttgart concert took place before the 2024 tour stop.
