Overview

Die Festung Rockt 2025 took place as usual in the outer moats of the Festung Rosenberg in Kronach, bringing a mix of punk, ska, metalcore, and indie bands from Germany and other European countries to two stages as a one-day festival. The organizer was the youth and cultural center Struwwelpeter e.V. with around 100 volunteers.

2025 Season in Review

In 2025, a good dozen punk, ska, metalcore, and indie bands once again played in the outer moats of the Festung Rosenberg over a single day. The festival followed the established one-day format with camping starting Thursday evening and programming until late at night.

As in previous years, the event was entirely supported by volunteers, with funding from the Archdiocese of Bamberg, the City of Kronach, and the District of Kronach. This ensured that Die Festung Rockt remained a fixture in the festival calendar of the southern German punk, ska, and rock scene.
