Design Festival Mainz 2026

The Design Festival Mainz is a young, curated design format that has established itself as a regional meeting point for fashion, jewellery, home design, and lifestyle since its first edition in 2024. The 3rd edition will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, and Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day in the Pyramide Mainz.

110+ Designers and Labels

Over 110 national and international designers, labels, and start-ups will present their latest collections. The curated selection includes fashion labels (women's, men's, and children's collections), jewellery designers, arts and crafts, ceramics, home accessories, stationery, and design products from the beauty and lifestyle sectors. The focus is on independent brands and manufactories, which often sell their products in small editions and without traditional retail.

Pyramide Mainz as the Festival Venue

The Pyramide Mainz at Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Straße 17 in the Hechtsheim district is a distinctive event location with a spacious hall and good natural light through the glass pyramid that gives it its name. It is easily accessible via the A 60 and A 63 motorways, with ample parking directly in front of the hall.

Food Trucks and Outdoor Area

Food trucks will provide culinary accompaniment in the outdoor area. The concept aims to make the festival an enjoyable day trip: browse, shop, chat with the designers, and take a break at a food truck.

Personal Contact with the Creators

Unlike traditional trade fairs, the strength of the Design Festival lies in the personal contact between the audience and the creators. The designers themselves are present at their stands, sharing the stories behind their products and often offering small special promotions or festival editions.
