Overview

The 13th edition of Desertfest Berlin took place in May 2025 at Columbiahalle and Columbia Theater. Stoner Rock, Doom, Sludge, and Heavy Psych from Europe and overseas filled both venues over three days. As in previous years, weekend tickets sold out well in advance.

The 13th edition of Desertfest Berlin in 2025 confirmed the festival's position as the most important German date for heavy, riff-based music. International headliners alternated with local and European acts; the Columbiahalle served as the main stage, with the Columbia Theater next door for special formats.

The festival remains a must-attend for the European Stoner scene: fans traveled from Great Britain, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, and Italy. The location near Tempelhof Field also makes the weekend an urban open-air experience, even though the concerts themselves take place indoors.
