Overview

The "Der Berg ruft" Father's Day Festival 2025 took place around Ascension Day in Sandberg at the foot of the Kreuzberg. Five days of marquee festivities with live music, marquee operations, and regional cuisine, supported by the Sandberg Volunteer Fire Department, Sandberg Musicians, and 1. FC Sandberg. The event was considered a great success; the organizers thanked guests, helpers, sponsors, and artists.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the major Rhön marquee event. As in previous years, party bands, Bohemian brass music, a DJ night, and the Family Sunday formed the core of the five-day program. The festival community of the fire department, musicians, and football club once again attracted thousands of visitors from the Rhön and Lower Franconia.

The festival proceedings, deemed a great success by the organizers, confirmed "Der Berg ruft" as a firmly established annual date in the festival calendar of the Rhön-Grabfeld district.
