Overview

The Delitzscher Adventsmarkt 2025 took place on the 2nd Advent weekend and confirmed its profile as one of the most diverse Advent markets in Nordsachsen. Over 80 stalls with regional and international specialties, live music, and a children's program made the market a strong gathering point for families from the greater Leipzig area.

In 2025, the Economic Development of the City of Delitzsch reaffirmed the market's international focus: stalls from Japan (Takoyaki), the Czech Republic (Trdelník), Georgia (Khachapuri), France (Macarons), and Scandinavia (Flammlachs) complemented the regional offerings. The combination of a classic Advent market character and global culinary diversity has established itself as the hallmark of the Delitzscher Adventsmarkt.

In the weather-protected «Markt Zwanzig» area, glassblowers, ceramists, and wood designers once again presented their crafts. The stage program with regional bands and associations completed the picture.
