Overview

The 2025 edition of Das Improv Festival Berlin took place in September, continuing the tradition of a five-day workshop and show program. Comedy Café Berlin and Ida Nowhere in Neukölln once again served as the main stages, while the CCB Studios in Hasenheide hosted the workshop program. International Long-Form Improv acts from Great Britain, the USA, the Netherlands, and Germany performed and shared their skills in day workshops on Musical Improv, Voice Over, and Long-Form techniques. The edition solidified the festival's reputation as Berlin's most important English-speaking Improv destination.

The 2025 edition maintained the proven festival framework: 16 workshops with international instructors during the day at the CCB Studios, parallel shows at Comedy Café Berlin and Ida Nowhere in the evening. The festival remained true to its curatorial profile — focus on grounded and game-based Long Form Improv, complemented by Musical Improv and experimental formats. Organized as a non-profit association, the edition remained financially solid and strengthened the international networking of the Berlin Improv scene with the comedy world in London, Amsterdam, New York, and Chicago.
