Darss Nature Film Festival

The Darss Nature Film Festival 2025 was held in October, once again bringing together nature filmmakers and an nature-loving audience on the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula. Over six days, program sections ranging from Competition, Tiefgang, Leuchtfeuer, and Ausguck to the family program Kakadu were shown.

The focus was on the competition for the German Nature Film Award, for which the jury and the audience jointly decided the winners. The 360° Cinema Boat projected films onto the Bodden lagoon, and the Nature in Focus and Literature Meets Nature sections also complemented the program at the venues on the peninsula and at the Ozeaneum Stralsund.
