The Dare 2B Alpenstadt City and Trail 2025 gathered trail and road runners in Bad Reichenhall for its 20th anniversary edition. The Hochstaufen-Trailrun, City Trails, and Kids' Runs offered a varied competition program. Food trucks at Rathausplatz and live music in the evening rounded off the running day into a city festival.
The 20th anniversary edition in 2025 confirmed the status of the Dare 2B Alpenstadt City and Trail as the most important running event in the Berchtesgadener Land region. More than 1,000 runners completed the various routes — from the 150-m Mini Run to the 19-km Hochstaufen-Trail.
The recipe for success, combining sporting competition, alpine mountain ambiance, and urban festival atmosphere at Rathausplatz, has been working for 20 years. In these two decades, the event has mobilized over 12,800 runners, who have collectively completed over 154,000 kilometers in Bad Reichenhall.
