The Dalheim Monastery Market 2025 took place on August 30 and 31 at the Dalheim Monastery Foundation — again featuring around 50 monasteries and convents from Germany and Europe. Monastery wines, delicacies, handicrafts, books, and natural remedies; the supporting program included craft demonstrations, hands-on workshops for children, a puppet show, and the Saturday evening Taizé prayer.

Monastery Market 2025 — Proven Mix of Enjoyment and Spirituality

In 2025, the Dalheim Monastery Market once again confirmed its reputation as Europe's largest monastery market. For two days, the monastery grounds and the LWL Museum of Monastic Culture opened their doors to around 50 religious communities from German-speaking countries and neighboring nations. Classics like Stift Melk, Königsmünster Abbey, and Herstelle Abbey were present again; the supporting program with Taizé prayer, craft demonstrations, the Laku Paka puppet theater, and children's hands-on workshops attracted thousands of visitors from all over Westphalia and beyond. The Dalheim Monastery Foundation coordinated the event together with the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe.
