Dachauer Volksfest — Edition 2025

At the Dachauer Volksfest 2025, the 'Große Kreisstadt' Dachau once again attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Ludwig-Thoma-Wiese. After the festival opening with a concert, town concert, and parade, the mayor officially opened the festival with the beer tapping ceremony in the large festival tent. Over ten days, brass music, party bands, amusement rides, and showmen created a Volksfest atmosphere. A senior citizens' afternoon, a children's afternoon, and the Bergkriterium cycling race rounded off the program. The highlight, as every year, was the grand fireworks display over Dachau Castle.
