Advent market with Ferris wheel, Sunday shopping, and raffle
The Daadener Martinsmarkt is one of the most important town festival formats in the Westerwald small town in late autumn. The organizer is Aktionskreis Daaden e.V., which designs the weekend together with retail, restaurateurs, and clubs.
The Martinsmarkt extends over three central squares and axes: Hans-Artur-Bauckhage-Platz, Schützenhof, and Mittelstraße. This spatial expansion gives the market a festive character and ensures that visitors can stroll, discover, and experience new atmospheres time and again.
A special feature of the Daadener Martinsmarkt is the Ferris wheel, which provides a pre-Christmas atmosphere and a special view over the Daaden town center. It is complemented by a children's carousel, which attracts families and makes the market an experience for the youngest visitors.
Sunday is designated as a shopping Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The shops in the Daaden town center are open and complement the market offerings. The Aktionskreis thus combines two functions: revitalizing stationary retail and creating an atmospheric occasion for the population.
A raffle with attractive prizes, donated by participating shops and sponsors, is one of the highlights. Mulled wine, regional specialties, bratwurst, and sweets characterize the gastronomic offer. The illumination of the town center creates an initial Advent atmosphere that many Daaden residents specifically seek out to get into the pre-Christmas mood.
The Daadener Martinsmarkt 2026 will take place on Saturday, November 7th, and Sunday, November 8th. The venue is the town center of Daaden with the three central axes Hans-Artur-Bauckhage-Platz, Schützenhof, and Mittelstraße.
The Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. complements the market offerings with open retail stores.
