Overview

The 26th edition of the CTM Festival took place in January/February 2025 in Berlin. For ten days, the festival once again occupied the central venues of Berlin's club scene and independent stage culture – Berghain, Radialsystem, Volksbühne, RSO.Berlin, and others – with concerts, AV performances, a discourse program, workshops, and conference formats centered around experimental music and sound art.

The CTM Festival 2025 continued the annual tradition of making Berlin the stage for "adventurous music" in winter. Over ten days, concerts and club nights, performances, sound installations, conferences, talks, and workshops were once again curated between Mitte, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg, and Wedding.

As in previous years, Berghain was central for the late-night club programs, Radialsystem for concert formats, and Volksbühne for intermedial stage productions. In addition, smaller venues like Morphine Raum or Haus der Visionäre offered space for the experimental edges of the program.

The organizer remained DISK – Initiative Bild & Ton e.V., located at Veteranenstraße 21 in Berlin-Mitte. CTM 2025 once again confirmed the festival's ambition to connect international avant-garde with local club reality – and laid the groundwork for the thematic deepening of the 27th edition in 2026.
