CSD Herne

CSD Herne 2025 was organized on June 14, 2025, by CSD Herne e.V. under the slogan "Never silent again". With the demonstration through the Herne city center, the stage program, and workshops on LGBTQ+ topics (trans rights, youth work, alliance work with other marginalized groups), the CSD joined the Ruhr Area's CSD quartet — directly following Gelsenkirchen, Recklinghausen, and Bochum, and preceding Essen. The combination of working-class culture and queer identity is a hallmark of the Herne CSD, distinguishing the event from larger Pride events in the city centers of Cologne, Düsseldorf, or Berlin.
