Overview
The 2025 edition of CSD Düsseldorf also took place in early June and again saw growing participant numbers at the demonstration and street festival. The program consisted, as usual, of a political demonstration, an ecumenical service, a street festival, and stage performances. Pride city partnerships and solidarity with queer movements in Central and Eastern Europe were particularly in focus.
As early as 2025, CSD Düsseldorf e.V. had announced plans to extend the demonstration route for 2026 – a response to growing interest and the increasing political sensitivity of queer visibility in Germany and Europe. The central stage was located, as in 2026, on Johannes-Rau-Platz at the intersection of the Rathausviertel and the Old Town.
