Overview
CSD Bremerhaven 2025 took place on Saturday, July 12, and was the fourth edition of Christopher Street Day in the Seaport. A colourful parade moved through the city centre, accompanied by a political rally, music, and dance. In light of societal debates, the CSD sent a clear message for the rights and visibility of queer people. The success of this and previous editions prompted the founding of the association Queerhaven e.V., which will organise the CSD independently from 2026 onwards.
The 2025 edition on July 12 continued the still young but already firmly established tradition of CSD Bremerhaven: a colourful parade through the city centre with rainbow flags, creative costumes, music, and dance, combined with a political rally. After four successful editions in the Seaport, the organising team decided to create more independence with the newly founded association Queerhaven e.V. and to organise the CSD independently from 2026 onwards.
