In July 2025, Christopher Street Day Berlin once again drew around 500,000 participants through the capital. The demo parade led from Leipziger Straße via Schöneberg back to the Brandenburg Gate, followed by the Pride Village with speeches, concerts, and political contributions. Embedded in Berlin Pride Month and with a clear political profile as a response to the international backlash against LGBTQIA+ rights.
CSD 2025 – Political and Grand
The 2025 edition once again confirmed CSD Berlin as one of Europe's largest Pride demonstrations. Hundreds of thousands of participants on the trucks and along the route between Leipziger Straße, Nollendorfplatz, and the Brandenburg Gate made the CSD one of the defining political events of the Berlin summer 2025.
Themes 2025
The focus was on themes such as the protection of trans and non-binary individuals, media visibility of queer realities, and international solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities in Russia, Hungary, and the USA. The Pride Village in front of the Brandenburg Gate marked the conclusion with speeches and live concerts.
