Overview

CSD Augsburg 2025 took place in June, following the established format of a political parade and the Königsplatz street festival. Thousands of participants from Augsburg, all of Swabia, and beyond came together for the demonstration and the subsequent stage program. As usual, Queergarten and IDAHOBITA* took place in the run-up. The event confirmed Augsburg's firm place on the Southern German Pride map.

CSD 2025 in Retrospect

In 2025, the Augsburg queer community once again used Christopher Street Day to focus on visibility, political demands, and a shared celebration. The format has proven successful for years and was confirmed again in 2025.

Political Messages 2025

As with every CSD, the political messages in 2025 were central: strengthening the self-determination law, protecting queer refugees, visibility of trans and intersex individuals, and combating the increase in right-wing hostility. The speeches on the Königsplatz stage in 2025 reflected this political situation.
