Overview

CSD Amberg 2025 drew hundreds of demonstrators and allies to the Upper Palatinate Vils metropolis. Colorful, bold, joyful, and confident, the demonstration march moved through Amberg's old town — a powerful queer manifestation in a region with a conservative character. The association Kunterbunt Amberg e.V. organized the CSD as every year with political speeches, a stage program, and a spirit of solidarity.

CSD Amberg 2025, as always, stood for more than just a Pride parade. In the conservative Upper Palatinate, every demonstration march is also a statement, every rainbow flag a sign of visibility and courage. In 2025, too, hundreds of queer people and allies gathered at Amberg's Marktplatz for the opening rally, demonstration march, and closing program.

The association Kunterbunt Amberg e.V. organized the day with speeches, live music, drag performances, and an open mic. As every year, CSD Amberg coordinated with its sister CSDs in Schwandorf, Weiden, and Cham to strengthen queer visibility throughout Eastern Bavaria. An important event with real political significance — and at the same time a celebration of life and solidarity.
