In 2025, the Regional Museum Neubrandenburg already presented rotating special exhibitions on city and regional history. As one of the most visited cultural institutions in the city, the museum prepared the 2026 craftsmanship exhibition in advance.

In 2025, the Regional Museum Neubrandenburg continued its exhibition and educational program on the history of the City of Four Gates and the Mecklenburg Lake District. With permanent and special exhibitions, the institution is a fixture of Neubrandenburg's cultural scene.

Behind the scenes in 2025, preparations were underway for the special exhibition "Craftsmanship. Then and Now," which opened in 2026 and examines craftsmanship from the Slavic early period to the digital present.
