Edition 2025 — Courtly and Heroic
The family festival "Courtly and Heroic" took place, as it does every year, in mid-September 2025 at Hohenzollern Castle. Sword fighting demonstrations, courtly dances, reenactment scenes, and a packed hands-on programme for children transformed the castle courtyard into a medieval stage. One of the most popular family events in the Zollernalb district.
Courtly and Heroic — September 2025
In 2025 too, swordsmen, dancers, and reenactors transformed the courtyard of Hohenzollern Castle into a medieval stage for a weekend. The family audience came from all over the Zollernalb district and the wider region — children learned sword making and round dancing, while adults enjoyed sword fighting demonstrations and music.
Hohenzollern Castle once again proved to be an atmospheric venue for a high-quality medieval festival. The next edition follows on September 19th/20th, 2026.
