Hechingen — Town at the Foot of Hohenzollern Castle
Hechingen is a small town in the Zollernalb district, located south of Tübingen, with about 19,000 inhabitants. Its landmark is Hohenzollern Castle — one of Germany's most famous castles, picturesquely perched on an 855-meter-high ridge above the town, the ancestral seat of the Prussian-German royal house of Hohenzollern. The Hofgut Domäne is located at Brielhof on the outskirts of the town — a historic estate ensemble that is now operated as an event venue, restaurant, and hotel.

The 2026 edition runs from Friday, May 22nd to Whit Monday, May 25th, 2026. Four days of country programming over the Pentecost weekend — an extended weekend that draws country fans from all over Southern Germany and neighboring countries to Hechingen.

Country Music and Line Dancing
The musical profile is consistently Country — from classic Nashville country to outlaw country and bluegrass, to European country acts from Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland. Live concerts are the focus of the evenings, alongside:

- Line Dance Workshops for beginners and advanced dancers

The Country Scene of Southern Germany
The country scene of Southern Germany is its own subculture — well-connected, well-organized, and intergenerational. Country meets Domäne is one of the important annual meeting points for this scene — regular guests from Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Freiburg, Munich, Basel, and even from Alsace and Switzerland come to Hechingen every Pentecost to live in the country world for four days.
The Hofgut Domäne as an Event Venue
The Hofgut Domäne is an experienced event venue with extensive experience in country and Western events. Several halls, a large beer garden, professional sound and stage equipment, and on-site accommodation — all make it the ideal festival location. Four Pentecost Days 2026
This year's edition uses the extended Pentecost weekend for a concentrated country festival with a full program: Friday opening with live music and dancing, Saturday and Pentecost Sunday as full program days with workshops during the day and concerts in the evening, Whit Monday as the closing day with a morning pint and final performances.
The program is spread across the event spaces: Remise as the main stage with a dance floor, Biergarten as an open-air stage (weather permitting), La Paz as a bar/lounge area, Lui with country/American cuisine, Kuhstall for workshops.

Getting There
By car: A81 exit Empfingen, then B27 to Hechingen, Brielhof on the outskirts. By train: Hechingen station (Hohenzollerische Landesbahn), then bus or taxi from the station to Hofgut Domäne. Parking available directly at the Hofgut.

Tip
Bring your cowboy hat — the outfit is part of the country culture. If you want to learn line dancing, plan a workshop slot — the Hechingen workshops have been popular for years and fill up quickly. If you just want to watch, the Biergarten is the best spot: live music outdoors, beer in hand, with views of the Hohenzollern mountains. Hohenzollern Castle itself is worth a half-day visit during a break from the event.
