Overview

The grand Cottbuser Revival Treffen 2025 brought Cottbus's club and party scene from 1987–2007 back to the city centre clubs for one night. Gladhouse, Weltspiegel, and Marie 23 with their floors were simultaneously active — from Techno and Hardstyle classics to EBM and Gothic, and Reggae and Ska.

At the Cottbuser Revival Treffen 2025, fans of Niederlausitz club history met for a night-time journey through 20 years of Cottbus dance culture. Gladhouse, the city's most defining club, the Weltspiegel cinema, and Marie 23 — three locations, six floors, one ticket — were jointly programmed. DJs mixed Dance Classics, Techno, House, Breakbeat, EBM, Goth, Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ska, and 80s Rock on the floors — the music of a generation that experienced its club youth in Niederlausitz between the fall of the Wall and the 2000s. With the resonance of the 2025 meeting, the organisers established the format as an annual event in Cottbus's calendar and laid the foundation for the larger 2026 edition.
