Corpus Christi Procession Bamberg (Gardeners' Procession)

The 2025 Corpus Christi procession followed the centuries-old schedule: Pontifical Mass on the Cathedral Square, grand city procession through the Old Town, and the traditional Gardeners' Procession through Mittelstraße, Siechenstraße, and Königstraße. The streets of the Gardeners' Town were festively decorated with birch greenery, flowers, and flags; young gardeners carried the flower-adorned saint figures. The procession once again affirmed its status as one of the most significant traditions of faith in the Archdiocese of Bamberg and as a living testament to the unique Bamberg gardening culture within the UNESCO World Heritage site.
