The 2025 Uckermark Music Weeks once again offered over twenty concerts of medieval to contemporary music in atmospheric venues in the Uckermark — village churches, manor houses, and open-air locations. The festival's characteristic concept of high-quality classical music in unusual spaces proved to be a public success in 2025 as well, with sold-out concerts in many venues across the region.

Festival 2025 in Review

The 2025 Uckermark Music Weeks took place traditionally in August. For years, the festival has established itself as a sonic bridge between historical and contemporary music in the spaces of the Uckermark — from early medieval village churches to manor houses.

Venues in Prenzlau, Angermünde, Casekow, Fergitz, Greiffenberg, Kuhz, Temmen-Ringenwalde, and other locations were part of the 2025 program. The Concierto Ibérico and similar ensembles specializing in early music also shaped the festival's artistic profile, which emphasizes original instruments and historically informed performance practice.
