Edition 2025 — Flossenbürg Commemoration
For the 80th anniversary of the liberation, the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial hosted survivors, relatives, and international guests in April 2025. The special occasion of the anniversary shaped an expanded program with the "Tent of Encounters," film screenings, discussions, and a solemn commemorative ceremony in the presence of international political representatives.
80 Years After Liberation — 2025 Review
The 2025 commemoration focused on the 80th anniversary of the liberation. Several days of programming with the "Tent of Encounters," films, conversations with survivors, workshops, and exhibitions culminated in the solemn commemorative ceremony in the courtyard of the Flossenbürg Memorial. The Bavarian Memorials Foundation has extensively documented the speeches, photos, and background texts from the 80th anniversary.
