Edition 2025 — 825 Years Reistenhausen
In the year preceding the major 2026 anniversary, Collenberg was focused on preparations. A special pre-anniversary marked the calendar: the 100th anniversary of the St. Josef Reistenhausen parish church was celebrated with a festive service and a parish festival. Simultaneously, the municipality, clubs, and the Allianz Südspessart worked on planning the multiple 2026 anniversary and the redesign of the Reistenhausen Mainvorland.
100 Years St. Josef Reistenhausen 2025
In the year before the big 2026 anniversary, Reistenhausen already celebrated an important pre-anniversary: the 100th anniversary of the Catholic parish church of St. Josef, built in 1925. The parish community invited to a festive service and a parish festival, thus preparing the town for the multiple local anniversary in 2026.
Preparation of the Mainvorland
Concurrently, construction work for the redesign of the Mainvorland took place in 2025. The municipality of Collenberg worked with architects, landscape planners, and funding bodies on the enhancement of the riverbank, the inauguration of which is planned for 2026 as part of the anniversary festival.
