Overview

The 68th International Summer Academy Collegium Musicum brought young international exceptional talents to the Marble Hall of Weissenstein Castle from July 15 to August 10, 2025. Four weeks of symphony concerts, chamber music evenings, piano recitals, and children's concerts in the baroque ambiance of one of Southern Germany's most significant castles.

The 68th season of the Collegium Musicum at Weissenstein Castle in 2025 offered a special festival experience in a baroque setting. From July 15 to August 10, around 80 young musicians from over two dozen countries gathered to create a four-week festival together with internationally recognized tutors. The program included symphony concerts, chamber music evenings, piano recitals, and children's concerts – all held in the world-famous Marble Hall of Weissenstein Castle.

As in every season, the festival combined pedagogical work with artistic excellence: young musicians rehearsed during the day under the guidance of experienced tutors and performed for the audience in the evenings. Several concerts were recorded by Bayerischer Rundfunk for BR-KLASSIK, once again demonstrating the academy's nationwide visibility.
